Description
Nummit Topical Anesthetic Spray belongs to the group of local anaesthetics known as amide-type local anaesthetics. It is used to produce local numbness (anaesthesia). It works by reversibly block nerve transmission, when applied to a limited area of the body. Its active ingredient lidocaine bind to the sodium channels in the nerve membrane and prevent the entry of sodium ions in response to the membrane?s depolarization.
It is generally very safe, works quite quickly, and will reduce the discomfort. It can also be used as an anesthetic lubricant to insert instruments in the human body for medical procedures (e.g., catheters).
Indications:-

Preoperative surface anaesthesia and for painful oral conditions.
- Lidocaine U.S.P. 15% w/w Inert solvents & Propellant q.s. to 100% w/w
- Each actuation delivers 7.5mg of Lidocaine USP, CFC free.
- Hold the container with the extension tube pointing towards the area of applications.
- Press button to spray.
- Allow 2 seconds between two subsequent sprays.
- Shake container before each use.
