Description
Dean Dissecting Scissors is a commonly used oral surgery instrument for blunt dissection.
In addition, the scissors can be used to penetrate soft tissue and remove a pathological mass. 
Serrations on the blade are designed to prevent the dissected tissue from slipping.
Dean Standard Series scissors with 1 serrated blade used for trimming tissue or cutting sutures.
The cutting blades can be straight, curved, blunt or pointed. Scissors are usually used for cutting. 
Surgical scissors are used for cutting, dissecting tissues, to cut bandages and sutures.
