  • Description

Major Ormakit contains a complete set of condensation curing silicones: one silicone putty for the first impression, one light bodied silicone for the second impression, together with 60ml pack of activator gel, suitable for the whole content of the kit.

    ORMADENT PUTTY :

    • Ormadent Putty formulation, based on synthetic spheroidal silicas fillers, performs the maximum fluidity combined with perfect final dimensional stability.
    • Ormadent Putty, due to its excellent initial flowing and final rigidity, guarantees the best results for all impression techniques
    • Ormadent Putty is the ideal support when employed in the wo-stage putty/wash techniqueand it ensures the perfect cohesion between putty and light materials in the ingle-stage double mixing technique This leads to the realization of high precision impressions.

    ORMADENT REGULAR :

    • Ormamax Regular specific formulation guarantees the optimal initial fluidity for an easy intraoral product flowing.
    • Oramamax Regular doesn drip, it is syringeable and directly applicable on the preparation.
    • Ormamax Regular consistency and high hydrocompatibility guarantee a perfect reproduction of fine details in every clinical condition.
    • Ormamax Regular is the ideal product when employed both for the ingle-stage double mixing techniqueand for the wo-stage putty/wash technique

    • Take the putty and the catalyst with the fingertips and start mixing. (Always wear gloves)
    • Fold and knead the putty energetically with your fingertips for about 30 sec., until the colour is even, without any stripes
    • Spread out the putty over the impression tray. The working time including mixing time is about 1 min.30sec.
    • Put into the mouth and wait until it is set, which will take about 3 min.
    • Remove the tray out of the mouth and express the light body impression material into the indentations in the tray.
    • Press the tray into the teeth &Set your timer for the intra-oral set time of your light body material, and keep pressure on the tray until the impression has set.
    • FAQs

      Q. What is the difference between addition silicone and condensation silicone?
      A. Addition silicones and condensation silicones are two types of impression materials. The key difference between addition silicone and condensation silicone is that addition silicone forms from an addition chemical reaction, whereas condensation silicone forms from a condensation chemical reaction.
The addition silicones have better dimensional accuracy and stability than condensation silicones. Condensation silicone are more economical than additionsilicones
An impression made from condensation silicone should be poured as soon as possible.
      Q. What are the advantages of using C-Silicones ?
      A. The impressions with condensation silicones are very accurate. Dentists used this type of silicone for many years. These materials are very well accepted by patients. Nice smell and taste is why patents find condensation silicones acceptable. The time for manipulation is good, which makes the job easier for the dentist. They have a low level of distortion when the impression tray is taken out from the mouth. Also, condensation silicones have good elastic characteristics.
